I wanted to share the following with you. Dr. JAQUELINE McCANDLESS
has always been one of the big guns in fighting autism. Her knowledge
and experience in the field are enormous. However, it is my humble
opinion that she fails to spread her knowledge adequately. For
example, her website, "www.starvingbrains.com" does not have any info
on her Vitamin A protocal. If I am wrong here, someone needs to set
me straight. Specifically, where can someone find Dr. McCANDLESS's
protocals (chelation, viral etc)?
Anyway, I stumbled upon what is called "JAQUELINE McCANDLESS's
PRACTIONER TRAINING SESSIONS". The material is about a year old but
is VERY valuable. It includes her protocal on what testing to do for
gut issues, brain inflammation, viral testing, Vitamin A protocal
etc. I feel the second link on viral/immune testing is the best. I
think Dr. McCANDLESS was training future practioners and created these
presentations. Even though it may not be possible to have Dr.
McCANDLESS as your child's DAN, these slides may make someone add a
protocal to help their child up the developmental ladder.
