Hello Heather,
In addition to a comfortable chair I highly recommend the book "Pain
Free" by Pete Egoscue. It teaches a set of exercises/stretches that
pretty much can solve the cause of just about any joint pain. It has
cured my back and shoulder pain and almost all my knee pain. I took
it to the next level and paid for a few sessions with an Egoscue
therapist to diagnose the source of my problems and customize a
program for me. It is a little tougher to do it yourself from the
book and I had been in pain for a while and wanted to make sure I got
the best results possible. They have clinics all over the country.
A little expensive but if you can get rid of the pain at the source I
am sure it's worth it. check out www.egoscue.com for more info.

I figure I sit most of my life in front of the computer for work, I
might as well have a chair that won't cripple me. I am very short
small and I have tried many office chairs but always the seat is tooin
deep and cuts my knees or the arms are too wide and never mind the
pillows and cusions for my back. Aeron is the only chair that comes
a small person's size that I know of.
Better yet, the small business I work for is willing to pay for it,
but I want to make sure that this cadillac of chairs will actually
help my back pain.
