I remember reading at one point that it was a complicated
process to remove amalgam fillings. Is this true? If so should I go else
where to have my remaining fillings removed?
It is quite easy if you don't mind an enormous new exposure to mercury as the
drill turns it into dust and vapor. But for people who have trouble with
mercury it is best to go to a dentist who does it the hard way, with a slow
drill, lots of ventilation and suction, a dam and who has you breathe
through a nosepiece.
