Yes. This is the typical adverse reaction to inappropriate DMSA chelation. Also look for increased emotional volatility and impaired coordination and strength, particularly of the legs.

We just finished 5 weeks of chelation with DMSA(chemet). 3 days on 4 days
off. Yesterday our son went to bed with a fever, he did not eat dinner and I
am wondering if this is a reaction or just a bug?

Also on the last 2 weeks of chelation we added in a small amount of LA.

Chemet 100mg per day given in 4 doses. The last week we did 100mg in one
dose per day.

Just wondering if others have seen this reaction.
