Lest anyone think I am boosting Doctor's Data a lot, please let me explain.

I boost what I think are the test they do the best of any lab.

Hair elements is unique in terms of the number of elements they test, and in
terms of the very helpful way the report is laid out.

Urine elements is good because it does so many and is inexpensive and known
to be accurate.

Nobody else in the US that I know of does fecal elements.

Their amino acid test looks decent.

Otherwise I actually suggest people use OTHER labs INSTEAD of DDI for the
rest of their tests, some of which are pretty uninformative and expensive.

We just happened to be talking a lot about hair elements so I have been
talking a lot about DDI. If we end up talking about liver detox you will
hear me talking a lot about Great Smokies. And Metametrix for organic acids
or fatty acids. And for lots of relevant tests the big national "health
plan" labs are just fine.

I don't mean to imply there is anything wonderful and special about the labs
I mention. I am just saying that the particular test in question is the best
one I know about - and enough better than the others to bother to go get it
specifically. If another lab does a test as good it is just fine - and if
anyone knows of labs I am not familiar with that do good tests please do tell
me - I would love to know about it myself.
