I have, in fact, heard this about
Ni coming off first, with lead next, and Hg only after these were down to
much lower levels in the body. I can't site you the texts here, and simply
would like you to check this out for us.
I have. To the extent I have been able to, it is unsupported by any
evidence. The mercury does go down, then come back up - whether or not you
take a chelator - which I think is mis-interpreted as this competitive
equilibrium phenomenon and then the MD's overgeneralize without poring over
their patients' test results in enough detail to do so properly.
