First, do they USE amalgam? If not, you are in good shape.
If so, then ask do they use a dam and give you a nosepiece to breathe
through while they remove the amalgams.
How do I know if theyare indeed mercury? >>
If they are metallic (black and corroded by now, silvery shiny when they
went in) they are 50% mercury in the form of dental amalgam. 50% mercury,
30% sliver, 20% tin approximately. The formula varies but it is always
close to 50% mercury.
