Bernie is more conservative (or less poisoned) than I. For over a year the
way I was able to sleep was to take 21-24 mg of melatonin each night. Now I
sleep fine if I don't take any.
Melatonin is quite nontoxic and has anticancer properties against certain
kinds of cancer. People will often take 500 mg a day of the stuff without
apparent ill effect if they are fighting cancer.
