"They" ought to consider making a patch for DMSA and/or other chelators.
Oral DMPS can be given every 8 hours.
Compounding pharmacies will gladly make you up "timed release" DMSA and LA by
mixing it with a certain kind of cellulose. I have no idea if this really
works well enough (and they don't either) but if you want to try it do let us
know what it does to your daughter.
I know how much it sucks to get up every 3 or 4 hours - I did it many, many
nights during periods when I didn't sleep well anyway so I was pretty sleep
deprived. It is a much better deal than the adverse reactions from improper
chelation that I have seen some people experience though.
