<< The side effects in children taking DMSA are seizures. My doc said that in
early 1998 a child in Vancouver had seizures after a naturopath gave him
DMSA. Alot of the docs knew about it because no one could figure out how to
make the seizures stop. The adults who take DMSA have multiple sclerosis kind
of symptoms but the big problem is that the symptoms dont go away when the
DMSA isnt taken anymore. I guess alot of the docs know because they keep
trying to figure out how to undo the effect of the toxicity of DMSA. >>

This is what you get if DMSA is given improperly, e. g. every other day. On
inappropriate administration schedules it moves mercury INTO the brain.

On a proper administration schedule of every 4 hours it does not move mercury
into the brain and these problems don't occur, but it is still possible to
get the well known side effect of neutropenia - a reduction in the kind of
white blood cells called neutrophils. This makes them susceptible to
infections, particlularly by yeast and fungus.

Unlike increased brain mercury, which is permanent, neutropenia does
improve after they stop DMSA.
