Using the logic above, there must be mercury bouncing around the body
all the time between the evenly matched endogenous cysteine molecules.

This is correct. Since most of those cysteines are in proteins that are at a
fixed location they don't pass the mercury around very fast. But if they
didn't do it at all mercury would be much less toxic - it would end up stuck
in one place where your body could sequester it and stay there.

Could you please post any doctors who have experienced this? I would
like to find out more. Thank you.

They appear to be quite well aware of this at the Pfeiffer Center in
Naperville, IL.
