Ana,

What do you mean by the value of the shots? I'm sorry to be so
clueless. He is within 1-2 shots of what they consider full dose.
He started having swelling in shot area after the shot. Two times ago
I had them remove phenol, which I did'nt know was in there. Then we
missed a week. I assume they went back to the dose that was given
two weeks ago. How old is your child and how long did you receive
shots?

We had the same thing happen to us on allergy shots.
What we were told is that if the values of the shots
change (especially in kids because they are growing)
then instead of helping you are actually aggravating
the situation. We took a break for that reason alone,
it was changing alot after they got sick and when we
started back up again they were worst on the shots
than better.

Dear Listmates,

Has anyone had a bad reaction to allery shots? My
son has been
getting weekly shots since April. Last week he had
a sinus infection
and missed his shot. He has been doing good even
thru being sick,
and then we had a shot Friday, and two hours later,
he was emotional
and hyper. Even his speech therapist made a comment
that night. He
continued to be very emotional, twisting his hair,
and commented not
feeling right. Do you think it was the allergy
shot? We didn't
change any thing else. So far, the shots have not
improved his nose
problems, it's been 6 months worth. The Doc says it
may take a year
to help. Is this normal to take that long to see
improvements. Wer'e
wanting to give up on shots. Please reply.
